Starting at a new school can be one of the most challenging transitions for students—marked by unfamiliar faces, new routines, and the pressures of early adolescence. For many, it’s the beginning of a stressful journey that can feel overwhelming.
Our introductory programming is designed to create a softer landing for incoming students. Through simple, shared experiences, we:
- Break the ice and ease social anxiety
- Disrupt early clique formation
- Spark conversations around kindness, empathy, and inclusion
Whether on campus or nearby, our activity rotations give educators a chance to observe group dynamics and identify both positive and concerning social behaviors—before the academic year begins.
Activity Types
Large Group Games
Fun, age-appropriate challenges with no obvious solutions. Students must organize, strategize, and collaborate to succeed—building teamwork through play.
Team Initiatives
Groups tackle a series of challenges requiring leadership, communication, and trust. Each activity ends with a debrief to reflect on group dynamics and areas for growth.
Build & Final ChallengeTeams design, build, and race a custom vessel/vehicle using provided materials. They present their creation with a short pitch and are recognized for creativity, teamwork, and performance.
