About Mountain Workshop

Founded in 1979, Mountain Workshop designs and facilitates experiential learning and outdoor education programs that serve as catalysts for:

  • Personal growth and resilience
  • Navigating change
  • Embracing diversity
  • Enhancing student engagement
  • Building and sustaining a positive school climate throughout the academic year

Activating through Shared Experiences

Our experiential learning model centers on shared experiences that highlight the importance of both individuality and teamwork. These experiences spark meaningful conversations that connect directly to everyday challenges inside and outside of school.

Each activity follows a three-step approach:

  1. Instruction – Clear guidance and expectations
  2. Activation – Hands-on engagement
  3. Debrief – Reflective discussions that deepen understanding

Teachers and administrators are encouraged to participate alongside students, fostering stronger relationships and contributing to a healthier school culture.
